It is generally accepted that for repointing purposes, mortar joints should be ‘raked out’ to a minimum depth equal to twice the height of the joint i.e. double the gap between adjacent brick courses. It is also important to retain a constant raked depth. Controlling dust throughout this process protects the operator, other persons and assets in the vicinity, and minimises clean-up costs. The products we supply are used by professional Masonry and Repointing Contractors for the creation, maintenance and restoration of construction joints.
