Core Buddy

Core Daddy

CoreEZ designs - Patent Pending

Core Buddy - a hand-held core drilling system, capable of holes up to 8” (200 mm) diameter in reinforced concrete. Particularly suited to curved or irregular surfaces. Ideal for concrete pipes.

Core Buddy uses a Guide Bar and Drive Tube configuration for accurate positioning and alignment of the core bit, making it safer and more comfortable to operate than traditional hand-held systems. Using a high speed power tool, the Tiger Tooth core bits can be run at the optimum speed, making it possible to cut reinforced concrete faster and with less effort.

Core Daddy - a unique core drilling system which RETAINS THE CORE. Capable of drilling up to 18” (450 mm) diameter holes in reinforced concrete. Particularly suited to curved or irregular surfaces. Ideal for concrete pipes. Powered by an Angle Grinder, ‘Stihl’ Saw or similar source

Core Daddy also uses the CoreEZ guide bar design to maintain accurate alignment and positioning of the core bit. However, it incorporates a speed reduction (torque multiplier) gearbox to create conditions suitable for larger diameter cores. Most significantly, the configuration of this larger system results in the drilled core remaining attached to the equipment, so it can be safely withdrawn - this offers significant safety and productivity advantages in many situations.

Core Daddy can be driven by an electric angle grinder or as shown, petrol or air-powered ‘chop’ saws. Using this type of non-electric equipment provides freedom to drill in remote locations and may be safer in certain situations
