This is our widest planer, used for moderate material removal over large areas. It is also very popular for grooving and texturing large areas to improve slip resistance. A Power Drive option further extends the scope of this planing system. Highlights include:

The CT 350 long life drum assembly has 3 support flanges (in addition to the end plates), 6 x 12 mm flail shafts and a full width hexagonal drive bar. 45 mm dia TCT, Beam Flail and Milling Cutters can be fitted. Cutter density can be varied using spacing washers. A special ‘grooving’ drum with 3 additional support flanges is also available.

Power Drive Systems 

CT350 Power Drive is available with a three phase (7.5 kw) electric motor or petrol-engined. The integral drive motor is powered from the main electric supply or an alternator fitted to petrol-engined models, the latter providing total independence from a fixed supply point.

The bi-directional variable speed drive vastly improves productivity and control, thereby contributing greatly to reduced operator fatigue. Used with TCT or Milling Cutters on a regular planing drum, consistent results can be produced over extended periods. Operating in the reverse direction, the CT350 will remove tougher coatings in a highly controlled manner, with greatly reduced operator effort.
