Pointmaster produces consistent, well defined, pointing profiles, compressing and sealing the mortar, thereby ensuring a stronger, more durable joint, which will withstand weathering and be less prone to discolouration. Used with or without wheels, it allows the bricklayer (or his ‘mate’) to quickly produce finished joints of consistent quality and cosmetic appearance. Equally suitable for occasional bricklayers and competent DIY’ers.

The basic Wheeled Tool (pictured above left) is supplied with a pack of Raking Studs. These are suitable for raking small areas of loose or crumbling mortar, prior to re-pointing. For removal of harder bed joints, use the C-Tec Brick Raking system with a diamond blade or the Mortar Termite with TCT router bits.

The three Standard Irons are best suited to use with the Wheeled Tool.

Recessed irons are available in 8 and 10 mm widths. They produce a flat sealed joint, recessed to your chosen depth, set by fitting shims beneath the irons.

Bucket Handle irons produce a compressed surface joint of consistent shape and finish.
