The most widely recognised Concrete Surface Preparation method, also described as a Scabbler, Groover or Scarifier. Typical uses include:
- Reducing screeds and levels, commonly referred to as Planing
- Removal of coatings, line markings & membranes
- Texturing & Grooving surfaces, often to increase Slip Resistance
- Removal of laitence & surface deposits, including ice in coldstores
A ‘flailing’ action is achieved by loose fitment of multi-point circular cutters across a cylindrical drum
