Pre-Separators

Pre-separators are used to intercept dust and waste materials in advance of the filtration stage of a vacuum unit. Greater than 80% of waste is commonly captured at this pre-filtration stage. The units can be coupled to any vacuum source, be it portable, wheeled, an in-factory or centralised office/domestic system. Primary benefits are:

  • Additional protection for the main vacuum equipment
  • Extended filter cleaning intervals on main equipment
  • Pre-separation of heavier waste for recycling or safe disposal
  • Additional waste storage capacity
  • Flexibility in positioning of main equipment

Zyclone

A self-contained pre-separator for use with various waste containers. Suitable for placement on plastic buckets (left) of rim diameter 285-300 mm. Can be fitted on other waste containers where a suitable closure plate has been created - appropriate access hole and sealing will be required for both the Zyclone and the closure plate. TV50i Interceptor

TV50i Interceptor

Uses the main elements of the TV50 dust collector, but excludes the motor and filter. Has an additional conical insert within the drum, which maximises the cyclonic action, resulting in more material being collected at this stage.
Can be used with any primary dust extractor, including close-coupling with a TV50. Will stand upright on its own base or can be hung from a framework such as scaffolding or another equipment chassis.
Has been used with factory-based extraction systems as an interim collection device, for recovering re-useable material. 50 mm hose connections throughout.

TV200i Interceptor
TV200 Interceptor

Derived from the TV200, 3 motor dust collector. Similar in function to the TV50I, it does however have a larger capacity, hence is fitted with castors for easy movement and grab handles for ease of emptying. ‘Sight’ glass gives indication of when unit is full. Wide range of applications, coupled to any form of primary dust collector. 50 mm hose connections throughout.

By creating the cyclonic effect within the unit, the Zyclone can be fitted to square-shaped waste containers (such as wheelie bins) which would ordinarily be ineffective as part of a pre-separator system

Zyclone will accept hoses up to 50 mm (2”) diameter
