The following explains the terms and conditions that apply when doing On-line business with us. We have tried to keep them as simple as possible. We trust where misunderstandings arise, we will be able to resolve them amicably through discussion and/or correspondence. However, you must be prepared to accept these general terms and conditions for PWM Distribution to accept your order instructions. United Kingdom customers please note - for the avoidance of doubt, we class all of our on-line transactions as being of a Business to Business nature and therefore the UK Distance Selling Regulations are deemed to be inapplicable. Making Purchases
On selected webpages, the facility to purchase goods On-line will be clearly highlighted.
When you click an ADD TO BASKET button, a shopping cart page will open, showing the product you have chosen, with a summary description and an order quantity of ONE (1) – if you wish to order more than one of this item, change the number in the Quantity box. If you are buying only one product, you then click the CHECKOUT button and you’ll be asked for address and payment details. If you want to purchase other products, click the CONTINUE SHOPPING button. This will return you to the last web page you viewed.
Summary information on the cost and quantity of goods you have placed in the Shopping Cart can be accessed by clicking the VIEW BASKET button, which will be prominently displayed on shopping pages.
Order Processing
We indicate within each product listing the likely availability of the goods for despatch:
- Standard Delivery – goods normally despatched within 2 working days
- Extended Delivery – goods normally despatched within 5 working days
Since an order can be placed at any time of the day or week, the first working day will be the one after that on which the order was placed.
- The On-line system automatically sends an Order Confirmation email on receipt of your instructions.
- We then check we have the means to fulfill your requirements in a timely manner.
- If we feel we will be unable to meet your expectations, or have to advise you of a different delivery charge, we will email you to gain your agreement as to how we should proceed. If we are unable to satisfy your expectations at that time, you will be able to cancel the order without penalty.
If you advise you wish to cancel an order which we are able to fulfill within the timescales indicated on-line, we reserve the right to recover costs incurred up to a sum equal to 25% of the order value, entirely at our discretion. Orders can not be cancelled after Despatch has taken place.
Delivery & Delivery Charges
We will consider the supply of products to any Worldwide destination. In some instances, we will have a local representative who can fulfill your requirements from locally held stock.
Unless indicated, goods for UK destinations are despatched for delivery on a Next Day service – this service does not deliver on Saturdays, Sundays or Public Holidays. To protect the interests of all parties involved, a signature is required to confirm receipt of the goods. If you issue alternative instructions, in particular to leave the goods without signature, neither PWM Distribution nor the delivery company can be held liable for loss or damage to the goods.
Delivery charges will be shown in your Shopping Cart. Our standard delivery charges apply across much of the UK mainland. Certain rural locations, most notably in Northern Scotland and all islands, may attract a surcharge. Next Day deliveries to N.Ireland, Eire and mainland Europe will cost extra and are subject to quotation. In some instances, a Royal Mail service can be an attractive alternative. If you have any questions, call or email us for a quotation and we will tailor the service to suit the urgency of delivery. We will contact you if additional delivery costs apply to your On-line order, or if an alternative service is advisable.

Payment Security
All transactions completed on the website are processed through RomanCart, Sagepay and RBS WorldPay. We at PWM Distribution will not have access to your payment card details.
Warranty
Unless specifically stated on a web page, all goods are supplied with a 12 month, Return to Factory warranty. We reserve the right to repair or replace defective goods at our discretion. In instances where a defective product is of third party supply or manufacture, we may be obliged to return the product to them for their inspection; this will inevitably extend the repair and return time. We reserve the right at our discretion to refuse warranty consideration on items which have been abused or modified or where component failure is due to the effects of normal wear and tear.
Privacy Policy
With the exception of those directly involved in the fulfillment of your order, or to comply with statutory or legal obligations, we will not disclose any of your details to third parties. However, we will retain relevant details lest we need to contact you with regards to your purchase at some stage in the future.
